Mmm; I thought Ollie's form dipped in the last three months of last season but he was still someone I hoped would remain with us. I'm glad that Darren Hare is now appointed; he needs to act quickly to secure players. But will he have good knowledge either of our players from last season, or indeed any players from our league?

good news, bad news, good news, bad news ........ do agree with Geoff though, Ollie was fantastic before Xmas but really struggled after and was shocking at defending set pieces. Sad to see him go though. Assuming Razor retires, Liam has gone, Walder gone, Ollie gone, we are going to need a completely new back 4 plus back up. Two of the players we wanted to stay have gone, that leaves just 4 or 5 more. I am guessing Hare is going to have to bring in at least 10 players and pretty quickly, hopefully starting with his son, who I would have over Ollie any day.

so now club saying oliie rowe has not left even though burgess hill have said that they have agreed terms with player. i think this show that now the club is try to catch up keeping players that might be useful for new manager when they have been ignore since end of season. maybe if players was contacted by club at end of season after wilson went then they feel more wanted. hope ollie does stay as although his form dipped he still show he is a good player at ryman south. there is part of me that says we should just start with a clean slate but if we have a decent coach this season then i think we see much better from players that underperform last season

Well that's a turn around, nothing like Burgess Hill jumping the gun. lets hope the new manager can work some magic with Ollie. Already suggested that we should now return the compliment and put in a cheeky bid for Chris Smith!!

What makes you think the players have not been contacted Peter? how many of them have you spoke too or are you listening to one, maybe disgruntled player. I speak to a couple of players and both were contacted almost immediately as I believe were most of the remaining squad members and all have agreed to speak to the new manager before making a decision on their futures.
