Just wondered if the club had considered the importance of getting some ball boys in place for the final home game of the season ?
Clearly this is going to be a "must win" game for us and it makes sense to get some ball boys in place for the game, and preferably old enough to get the ball back in play quickly if the situation demands it.
Having no ball boys gives the opponent's keeper the absolute perfect excuse to waste time as he retrieves a ball from the barrier at the road end.
Could this be addressed please, even if it's just for this game ?
St Pauls school are providing the ball boys Mick and seeing as the teacher who ive arranged it with is a regular supporter I'm sure he will be spending next weeks pe lessons drilling them to a military standard that would rival The All England clubs ball boys.
I'm pleased to hear you're taking my request seriously.
Please note I will be scrutinising and evaluating individual ball boy performances and you will be hearing from me again if I feel any are "only here for the chips".
Could I suggest the appointment of two distinct ballboy teams, one competent and the other less competent who are perhaps also blindfolded. If we should happen to edge the lead, the first team could then be replaced etc etc
