After the good win against Peachehaven it is now up against
South Park are currently the number 10 in the table with 67 points out of 40 games. Scored 69 and conceded 62 goals.
Top scorer: Lavery with 21 goals ( 7 penalty's )
Last November we played at home against them and won 5-1.
Last season we lost away 2-3 and drew at home 3-3.
South Park plays at: Whitehall Lane , South Park , Reigate
And we? In my topic of the game against Peachehaven i.m.o there was only one task and that was to entertain the public and show some spirit! A crowd of 624 and a 6-0 win ( although against poor opposition ) made a lot of people satisfied.
It will for sure not a easy task for HU; South Park won 5 of their last 6 matches and we will be without Billy - 5 goals - Medlock.
Interesting to see how the Management Team will solve this problem? Will Zac Attwood be back; will they play 2 men upfront ? Also the miss of Simon Johnson in midfield must be solved. Although a play off place seemed far away the fact that Worthing lost means that we are only 2 points away from..........................
Regarding the last matches we played against them i guess there will be enough goals to watch.
Have all a safe journey and like always support the team in a positive way!!
Although I didn't go yesterday it seems from the twitter reports that it was more a case of 2 points lost than 1 point gained. It is now out of our hands, and we now need to win our last 4 matches and will still only have 86 points and also hope that one of the other teams above us slips up. We would then have to rely on Hythe beating Faversham (or vice versa) on the last day of the season.

Problem is Adrian is that Hythe will almost certainly be in the play offs by the the time that game comes round. Why would they play anything other than a reserve team against Faversham when they have a play off game on the following Tuesday. Sadly, it appears we have made a complete mess of it over the past few weeks and I'm not sure we deserve to make it after 14 defeats. Just looking at the lack of comments on here regarding yesterday's game you can tell that most of us have sadly now given up.
The 'if's and buts ' are all but drying up slowly and I'm starting to feel that we are drifting towards an inevitable conclusion and probably the best positive spin at this moment in time is to think at least we are not looking at the other end of the table this season. It's not at all what we all wanted but it is a slow improvement I guess . Can't help thinking though without promotion we may lose players and possibly struggle again next season . There is still hope ,,but it's slipping away !
Don't think we will necessarily lose players as they seem to go where they get the most money. Think our defence has never looked secure this season and hope we can improve this next year.
Wonder what will happen to Margate now that their big financial backer has pulled out.
Good to read that Bradley Goldberg and Harry Pell had good games for Bromley and Cheltenham yesterday.
