Here's one for the Stat Boys ! Does anyone know how many Testimonials have taken place at the Pilot Field over the years ? I can only remember this http://www.footballprogs4sale.co.uk/ourshop/prod_2613031-Hastings-Utd-v-International-Xl-197374-football-programme.html for Bobby Drake and one for the late great Kevin Barry v a Chelsea X1 I believe , around the same time . I know there was a thought that Tony Cosens was due one for all of his years service to the club a couple of years back . Still due I would say ...Razor and Sammy Ads would have been entitled as well , had they not had the break away from the club for a short period . Just a thought anyway ! But can anyone else remember any others ?
Tony Cosens thoroughly deserves a benefit. The last one I can remember was Wayne Pea**** , Peter Sillett was our manager at the time and his brother John was manager of Coventry and he brought a team down. Think the crowd was about 2,000. I also think Steve Willard had one but cannot remember details.

Thinking about the Kevin Barry game , I'm not so sure it was a testimonial ... Wasn't it part of the deal with him signing for Chelsea ? Can anyone verify ?
