After a better second half and a deserved win against Whyteleafe it is now against Molesey.jpg

Molesey are currently the number 9 in the table with 67 points out of 39 games.

Scored 75 and conceded 67 goals. Top scorers are : Palmer with 22 and McShane with 20 goals.

Molesey play at: Molesey Park Stadium, West Molesey dsc04195.jpg?w=490&h=326

And we? After the win against Whyteleafe it is another final for us. Playing 3 games a week is a huge test for the players, not alone physical but also mentally. Let's hope the players will keep their focus and try to avoid yellow and red cards because that can costs us at the end more harm.

The hosts are not having a good run; lost last Saturday 2-6 against South Park and only won the game before just 1-2 against Peachehaven.

So hopefully another 3 points for the U'ssss and hopefully a lot of supporters will cheer the team on.

Safe journey !

Well funnily enough, I would at least think about it. I have been as critical as anyone about Jack's awful disciplinary record and the ludicrous action that led to his current ban; but the simple reality is that our current defensive line up is poor (Sean and Ollie apart); we could easily have conceded a couple of goals on Saturday; Jack if he can somehow avoid red mist moments is a good defensive player and every single point is now vital. I really do not think that young Liam should be a first choice defender; so a somewhat reluctant yes from me to Jack's inclusion.

Dead right Geoff. What's best for the team and for all his infuriating indiscipline, Walder is a good defender and he can play a vital part in the run in. Get him back in there.

So Walder is not there!

Molesey had already 4 or 5 chances in the first 20 minutes................

Why no Walder back as suspension over?
Why not start the mom Saturday Jack McLean?
Why not start crutts as he made big difference when come on sat?

was not at game but really strange team selection totally agree with stevie especially with mclean and crutts. at least hythe lost but really look like all we can get now is 4th or 5th but think we got prmoted last time after 5th place finish so may an omen or may that we need an amen if management keep making weird decisions

I was there tonight - massive disappointment! Lucky to have been at 0-0 HT. Better second half and denied a penalty through a handball a couple of mins from the end! Sadly I can see us getting easily beaten on Saturday away to Faversham. I just don't think we are good enough and the team selections are very odd. We really need a left back but management can't seem to see it - I'm a bit 😕 all in my opinion of course.

Really worrying times now and defeat at Faversham is going to make life very difficult indeed. Despite all the money being thrown at it and all the new signings of late we stand at 16th in the form table over the past 6 games, which is worse than any other team above Guernsey (Top 11). Inconsistent form continues to haunts us as does team selection. We can only assume that Crutts and Mclean were injured, after their performances on Saturday, whilst another team selection is now becoming particularly awkward and uncomfortable. Has Walder now been released or is he still part of the squad? Did Zac do his hamstring last night? Are these games coming to thick and fast for poor old Razors legs, what cover does he have?

For what its worth I feel we have to go to Faversham with Taylor, back 4 of Razor,Walder, Rowe and Cole. Midfield 5 of Mclean, Crutts, Adams, Johnson and Serbony with Medlock up top. That gives us a strong balanced bench of Davies, Wilson, Tyrell, Bright, Cumming Bart and Zac if fit.

Not sure that Sam Adams should have started, he ran a half marathon 48 hours before last nights game and it showed. Should have started with Cruttwell and MCLean. Molesey are another 'in your face' team and like Three Bridges and Carshalton we cannot cope with them.
The reality is, I am afraid , is that we are not good enough .

Winning goal is a shocker. Firstly one player has his hand in the air and is trying to play offside and then why dive in when you only have to hold up the right winger. All too easy and very poor defending.

image.pngI have to say John that when you freeze the video of the last goal you can see the player who scored is slightly offside. With the first goal I said it at the time and still feel having seen the video that Razor gets a nudge as he goes to header the ball.

Absolute travesty how our 92nd minute penalty isn't on there. Most blatant penalty I've ever seen us be denied

Some strange team selections unless as JW said there were injuries we don't know about. Let's hope we get a win on Saturday, hope to see the usual suspects at Faversham and hopefully a few more at this crucial stage of the season.

The penalty denial was a joke! Clear hand ball the refs and linesman in this league are so poor it's laughable! I was completely disgusted by his decision.

highlights not sure if bias but look like molesey deserve the win. as to the last goal can see what you mean lenny but maybe our number 3 was playing him onside out of picture. whatever we can not keep blaming the refs for us losing as think even if ref got a decision wrong the biggest wrong is selection and like phil says stupid playing sam adams after he run a half marathon. molesey look well up for it from video and maybe the playing thursday, saturday tuesday was just to much and big mistake to have a racing jolly and not play last tuesday against hythe. massive game on saturday, a defeat make the questions get bigger after we have spent all the money we have this season which must be biggest budget in league by long way. still think we will get play off though but maybe heart ruling head a bit
