The only thing I can think of is that certain comments were made about a Hastings United Player that should not have been said in case of any ongoing investigations into the incident.
I did wonder at the time when I read about it that perhaps it should not have been said.
So perhaps the administrators decided to delete the whole thread just in case.
So by that then we can assume we may not have heard the last of it.
Can the administrators at least tell us that a thread has been removed because some of the comments are a bit sensitive, (in this case I can see that an issue may have arisen).
But I didn't see anything that was malicious or nasty in the thread, views on a certain incident were well put.
was not at game tuesday but did see deleted thread and by the fact it been deleted must mean club is worried. glad ref is ok. in general think a player can only be sent of if they are shown a red card and if that did not happen and the new ref did not show a card when he took over dont know what problem is. agree with chris though to just delete thread without reason why look like it is a cover up when there was nothing nasty in thread and peopel just say it how it was. the corinthian casuals manager thought that the player was going to be sent off look at there website report so maybe the club need to contact corinthian and ask them to take it off there match report
Revised version of what happened after Hastings scored from their penalty. Sam Cole scores. Billy Medlock runs into the goal to say how unlucky the keeper was and after a pleasant chat, they agree to meet up in the bar afterwards for a drink. The linesman wants to pass on to the ref his congratulations on what a great job he is doing so starts waving his flag. All the players then meet in the middle of the pitch to exchange pleasantries and agree that the ref is absolutely brilliant. Taken aback by all this niceness, the ref falls ill.
what i find funny is in match report on corinthian siteit say that ryman league chairman ended up being the lino after ref went ill. not sure if that is right but if it is and club is trying to cover something up then pretty stupid if the league chairman was in thick of action. time to delete this thread and bring down corinthian match report and now we need to find the league chairman and swear him to secrecy or else
If Billy was not red carded or his name not entered in the refs little book for the alleged incident then he was not sent off. Furthermore if it was not picked up by any of the officials at the time or after the restart you cannot blame Billy for staying on the field.
The important factors are that the ref is hopefully now ok and that Hastings managed to get a point. That should be the end of it!!!
