Corinthian have a FA Trophy replay after drawing with Grays on Sunday. Must admit I am really surprised that there is nothing on here or the main site. Us die hard's know but not sure if everyone else does. May be some turning up tonight expecting to see a game.

I don't buy the Observer but I'm told that they omitted to say that the game going ahead was subject to Corinthians involvement in the FA Trophy still tomorrow night.
The fixture on the main website has been removed from the fixture list and replaced with to be confirmed.

I think there should be more than just change the fixture list tho. would help if it was news that game was off as soon it was know which guess was saturday when they drew. but it sums up the lack of news from club lately. the stuff in program is only source of info but even that is poor and really only go on about the games and how we play and most supporters will know that if they go to games. there is never any news on injurys on website or programme dont mean detail stuff but for instant where is Vickers. is he still at club? not even see him watching. along with fixture change, players and not know who even owns club i can see why supporters dont bother watching anymore. about time the club stop treat us like cash cow and started to tell us something

I believe Tom Vickers has been poorly in hospital with DVT so unlikely to be watching gamesĀ

Corinthians didn't play their game until Sunday Peter so that would have been the earliest that it could have been posted. We were officially told shortly after the result on Sunday and although I didn't check until it has just been brought to my attention on here, I'm confident that it would have been updated as I described shortly after. If you look at the main page on the website it does say quite clearly the next fixture which now says Herne Bay and as I said it is on the ixturs list as TBC.
As regards the fitness of certain players, Chris quite rightly pointed out a few weeks ago that we can't post players medical conditions in any public domain due to patient confidentiality. Tom Vickers has openly put on Twitter that he has been in hospital so I'm not giving anything away there but the timescale of his return to playing is very uncertain.
I think your comments about the programme is harsh, the contents in our match day programme is more substantial than most of the away ones I read. All the contributors put in a lot of time and effort in putting the programme together and sometimes are met with ridiculous deadlines to put it together, all on a volunteer basis.

thanks for info Windy and Lenny. not saying we need to give medical information away but just to say nothing is not helpful. not having a go at program at all it is good and presented well and love the gut feeling piece but just other stuff just find its like stating the obvious and is a match report and welcoming sides and telling us where they are in table and we know all that but if they said aboutplayers and club news then thing supporters would feel more valued. back to Tom sorry to hear that and hope he gets better soon. maybe be nice for the club to wish him well to

Hi Peter, appreciate your comment wasn't a criticism more an observation but for league games the 'best of Hastings' feature often covers things about players from a different point of view and Garry and Danny's notes as well as the boards often cover most club news. Any other player contribution is often quite generic but that's the nature of the beast really with programmes. Simon Stoddarts column is excellent as you mention and Roy Gannons & Peter Highs stats are always handy ( player stats & previous fixture against the opposition details )

We also often hear from fans both home & away that the photo pages next to the match reports supplied by Joe Knight & Scott White are well received. We're obliged of course by the league to carry the opposition details & history etc.

Used to put in a lot of fans content but that eventually dried up as well as it was the same people contributing & of course theres loads more we'd like to put in but we are fitting it in around normal life is is obviously a restrictor etc and their are other practicalities that limit content as well.

glad you see it as an observation i realise that just like website you only can put in what news and articles you get and think we have one of best programmes in league but when you buy program week in week out to read match reports from directors and managers just get a bit boring yet other news such as about players and club is just not there but dont expect you know anymore and you all do a great job it must take a lot of your time and the pics make it much better to look at than in used to be. one thing that really gets to me tho is the thing our managers both have about respect in the programe towards ref and then as soon as they dont get a decision they have a go at him. i dont know if ref sees program or not but i bet it annoys some of them to.

Not sure if programme editors would welcome contributions from an exiled fan along the lines of what's occurring non-league wise in the North West and comparisons with South East? For example, National League North is regarded as a much tougher league than National League South....or is it?
