Steve Cooks quote of none of the FA cup money being invested in the squad is way off the mark, I know what the budget was last season and I can tell you that I doubt any other club was paying as much as we were.
just read it and yes lenny that is true and if it not for previous fa cup run and get to 3rd round dont think the current squad would be this strong either. i think Cook does not really know what he talk about either as harrogate replay was 4000 attendance and i remember local derbies with st leonards and think crowds always about 1000 maybe 1200.
Cook says maybe not invested, and around 5000, so it wasn't an exact statement he was making. Again people on this forum not reading an article or post properly.
