You can't blame Frankie entirely for what happened last season, his departure was just a mere part of the whole thing. I agree his comments after he left regards him coming for money wasn't what we wanted to hear but as I say it was just a part of the episode that we all hope never happens again.
He was captain which means meant lead my example, had a go at certain fans at games and after he left the comments weren't on at all for that reason he doesn't deserve any goodness to Hastings United, every one boos Trevor when he plays against us I believe Frankie leave was much worse so hope he gets the same or worse
I really wish Frankie well and hope that his career takes a positive turn; but I found him a hugely frustrating player on the occasions he played for us. At his best he was truly sensational (please, let's not forget those games); but sadly there were far more instances where he was awful and disrupted the team's pattern of play; and although I do not have the personal knowledge to post on the 'loyalty' / 'respect' aspect of his behaviour, which some have forum members have commented upon above, I certainly see that as a legitimate matter for potential criticism of any player.
