very sad news about yesterday's air crash which appears to have claimed the lives of two Worthing players amongst the dead... My thoughts and condolences go out to all the frends and families involved in this awful tragedy

Shocking news and a real tragedy for local football. Condolences to all involved and hopefully we can all pay our respect at Tuesdays game.

Terribly sad news about the footballers and of course everyone else who sadly lost their lives. See the police are now saying its highly likely that 11 died and not 7 as previously reported. My thoughts go out to their family and friends and everyone at worthing united fc. May they RIP

i think all capital cup games at pro level are having a minute silence to which i think is great that pro game can acknowledge loss in football community even tho it non league and also what a awful tragedy it is

Just seen on the news that Anthony Jupp, manager of Horley Town, is asking all winners in the FA Cup this weekend, to donate £500 of their winnings to the Shoreham air disaster fund. He is hoping that every club takes part and if so will raise around £80000
