Here are a few pics from the Ringmer game that I took with my phone. Very over grown behind the goals. Best part of the day for me, the performance of Graham Leach the Ringmer goalkeeper, what a character. Worst, no food and all you could smell was someone's BBQ wafting around the ground. Liked the away kit, looks good.
I have to agree Vernon, I've not seen a goal keeping display like that in many years, he could easily play at this level. Without him could of easily been 7 or 8. I thought that Ringmer certainly put themselves on the line when it came to blocking shots etc. Despite having the lions share of the first half we just needed to be a bit more clinical in front of goal. I thought we controlled the second half very well and I think that between them Zac and Jack will get quite a few goals between them this season and also looks like the midfield will chip in with a few too. I've been very impressed with Steven Okoh and Max Hollobone, I really think we have a very competitive squad this season but I'm keeping my feet firmly planted and not getting over excited.
