For the 2015/16 season, we have decided to resurrect sponsor a goal which Pat used to organise in seasons past. Sponsor as much as you want from 25p per league and cup goal and your name as a sponsor will appear in the match day programme. Money pledged can be paid at the club shop at any home game or collected by any member of the management committee. Last year I think we scored about 60 goals. Hopefully we can top that this season and raise helpful funds for the club at the same time.

Typically, I missed Saturday's goal-fest as I was at a stag-do playing bubble football, strangely enough, one of the facilitators was Evan Archibald! Anyway it was good not to miss out completely thanks to Dan's excellent highlights footage. Being old enough to remember when only the cup final, home internationals and occasional European final were televised live, we really are fortunate these days with the variety of football we can see.
Growing a bit now, so thanks to everyone who has got involved. Just to clarify, if anyone would like to join, sponsorship starts from the date you join, not back-dated to the start of the season.
