We all think of the Spanish Deportivo de la Coruna in Spain - but there is another side who seem to have attracted a lot of followers here in the UK despite seeing a home game involving a week off work and altitude sickness pills - they are the Peruvian football team - Deportivo Wanka. And when one of the fellas turned up at work wearing his Wanka shirt, I was straight into Amazon ordering mine.
Sadly, I don't think I can promote knowledge of Deportivo Wanka in the match day programme - maybe the Ghost fanzine should be revived - but at least we have the forum here.......

I have a D.Wanka shirt on order too - hopefully arrives today....... I am really struggling to see how I can fit something in about this team into the programme...... You just know someone will not see the funny side, so I'll leave it here!
Simon, are you involved in the programme? Regardless a revival of ghost would be fantastic. What would it be called now? The ghost of Town? The Ghost of the ghost?
Yep Simon is making his triumphant return with his column in Saturday's programme and for the rest of the season, very happy to have him back on board :)
