seems like Tim has decided to hang the boots up as the club have not had the decentsy or courtsey to ring him and let him know if he was wanted or not, will always be a Hastings United legend ⚽️👊🏼

Such a shame and rude not to contact him. You will be missed Timmy

Maybe its just me but if a new manager came into my club and I was desperate to continue playing, I would be straight on the phone to him telling him of my intent to play, not waiting over 4 weeks for him to contact me. Nevertheless, Timmy is a great lad and has been a good player over the years so good luck to him in the future.

John that is what I said about Brinkhurst, why wait to be asked is it an ego thing, I just am left bewildered by attitudes these days.

Good luck Tim, everyone knows the assistant manager made the calls in the first few weeks to those that he wanted.

No ego thing, just surprising that  some were contacted and others not. By not being contacted I am sure the players knew where they stood.

As I haven't seen or heard anything about Tim & Ade signing, or playing in any of the friendlies, I can only assume that they have left the club. If this is correct, I would like to thank both the Olorundas for there great service to our club over many seasons and wish him all the best for the fututre.

I think both have now retired Cliff. Good luck to both of them and hope to see them at the ground soon enough!

Maybe a silly idea but for those services they did for the club all those many years maybe it is a nice gesture to invite them before a home-match and that the Chairman personally thank the guys and present them a little present. No, this is of course not a silly idea but the only right thing to do i.m.o.
