Under the chairmanship of Barrie West, the Club's new Management Committee has now taken shape, with Sean Adams, Matthew Denness, Eddie Denyer, Roy Trunchion, Liam Willis and John Wright joining West in forming the full line-up.
The Committee will be responsible for overseeing various matchday routines, whilst individual members will also take ownership of developing links within the local community, of administering and promoting the 200 Club and other fundraising activities, and also of helping with ground maintenance. These and other tasks are expected to evolve as time goes along.
Although able to take his place on the Committee, Trunchion has had to relinquish his role as Stadium Manager, so the Club would be pleased to hear from anyone who may be prepared to take on this voluntary position going forward.
Over the summer months, the principal responsibility of the role will be to assist in co-ordinating the programme of maintenance work that got underway last weekend, and will continue from 10.00am every Saturday morning, although the Stadium Manager should ideally be able to attend to ground related issues on odd occasions during the week as well.
