very strange we have only 1 away friendly, does no club want us. dont understand eastbourne and st leonards game at home.what gillingham side is likly to come on a thursday, academy? first one and last good but not much there to get supporters in. does anyone know if that is it and when is season starting?
There is just no pleasing some people,usually people complain if we have too many away games!
Also I think the choice of teams we are playing is very good, sometimes it's not a matter of who you are playing but more of getting everyone fit and trialling out new players.
Personally prefer home friendlys but Burgess Hill away on a hopefully sunny Wednesday in late July on the way home from work sounds good to me too! :)
Would imagine Gillingham would be a 50/50 mixed or academy squad as not listed as a first team friendly on their website but we're unlikely to get first team league club friendlys without being in Ryman Prem first imo.
sorry chris youare wrong i dont have any problem with new regime as you say. I dont do regimes but i say it as i see and if you look back i gave praise before and criticised before new people bought club unlike you who now defend but you now blinded but i keep my eyes open and just say what i see.
back to friendly and i did not criticise they were all at home except one it was an observation and i said it was strange cos with other clubs some are home some away. yes we have good pitch but frindly is prepare for season and think it good prep if some games are on not so good pitch to see how player and system can adjust. anyone know when season starts?

I'm led to believe Gillingham have said they will be a strong side down, obviously we know how all good laid plans can go wrong but it's encouraging to hear that.
Hope we start at home on 8th, thank for info. cant see anything on gillingham site Dan, they got games against faversham, folkestone, maidstone, tonbridge, bromly but no mention of us.
