I see they've been relegated due to failing ground grading requirements. I know they've been trying for years to get their new ground sorted across the road from The Parish field, I wonder if this will make the move more urgent?
Not good for them but not very surprised its not quite up to scratch for county 2, anyone can walk through there and i believe you dont technically have to pay them anything due to the Parish ownership? of course generally everyone in practice does to support them but that's the sort of thing the Sussex FA probably pulled them on
You're not be holding to pay anything at all and I believe that if you really wanted you can actually walk your dog across the pitch whist a game is going on as its parish land.
There seems to some confusion on this ,,I was told today , by someone at Westfield FC , that this is likely to go to appeal as the FA say the ground is ok but the Sussex FA seem to be laying down the law ...surprise surprise !!! As far as their new ground is concerned ..everything is in place ,,,just waiting for the diggers to move in
