I have always been intrigued as to whether the laws of the game prohibit hats. Clearly goalkeepers are allowed to wear them. Players can also wear hair long and pile it up on top of their heads. You may recall Jason Lee of Nottingham Forest in 2007 with a hair style that resembled a pineapple giving him extra inches in height ( as would hats or indeed hats on top of long hair)
Might this be a way forward to aerial supremacy next season
