To finish off the season there will be a strong Hastings United XI v Hastings United Supporters Team match this Saturday with Kick Off at 7pm but before that a 5pm there will be the rare chance for fans to get on to the Pilot Field pitch and take penaltys against Josh Pelling & Dan Rose! Well worth a go and was very successful last time it happened against Lee Worgan a few seasons ago now!
Saturday, May 2. Kick off 7.00pm
Admission by donation
Also features a Beat the Keeper Contest at 5.00pm
£3 for three penalties at Josh Pelling or Dan Rose

might come along but short notice and thought season was over 2 week ago for me at favcersham game. the penaltys do we choose who we want to take them against? rememebr the put one past worgan and fancy it against pelling but who is rose, should that be richard rose?
Assume they may alternate as diving to the ground 150 times to save pens in a row would defiantly hurt after a while I'm sure! But to be honest I don't know.
Hoping to be in Sussex this weekend, so is it OK just to turn up, pay the money, and then score 3 out of 3....or, in my case..... Could I ask for the goals to be widened a tad - 3 yards each side if possible. Is the club shop likely to be open, 'cos I'd like to spend a bit of money in there. And finally, I'd like to join the Supporters Club - can I also do that on the night. Sorry...quite a lot of questions there but thanks for any help.
A last minute change to the beat the keeper, the keepers will be Matt Cruttwell the U21 keeper and Dan Rose the U18 keeper. The club apologises for the late change but hopefully Pells will be available to play during the game against the supporters at some point throughout the evening.
Once again the club apologises for the late change.
What a fantastic evening. Special thanks to Dave O and the directors for arranging the game and lets hope this becomes an annual fixture once again. It would have been very easy for all of the Hastings players to stay at home but to see so many turn up on the night was really good to see and it was a really great and enjoyable atmosphere between all.
As for the game, the score line doesn't matter and it was certainly the best the supporters had played for many a year and was good to score a couple of goals. I certainly had JJ in my pocket all night and Dan Willett ran Razor ragged but how good is Ben White still, ridiculous tekkers!!! Well done all!

It was my Pilot Field debut and wow what a nice pitch to play on ,,, there aren't many supporters can say they have scored for the first team ,,,I can Og !!! Thanks to JohnW too for organising the supporters side of things too, as always . Thought there were a few players who gave their all but would like to say I thought John, Simon and Mikey stood out for us but I was extremely proud of everyone who played ! Well done boys !!
