Very good game for a 0-0, plenty of chances for us. filmed from the covered same end both halves as the sun was far too bright in the first so lots of Whyteleafe fans 'banter' initially.
Nice ground but the amount of black rubber that kicks up from the 3G pitch when the ball bounces is mental!!
It really is quite extraordinary and a testament to Dom's management, that a team that has been unable to thread 3passes together over the past 2 seasons is able to play such an attractive passing game after just 3 games in charge. The long ball rubbish we have been witness to over this time is hopefully never to been seen again at the Pilot Field.
looking at the fixtures if we can something at high flying Faversham next Saturday I believe we can get 16 points from our next 6 games and that will put us right back in contention.
It was noticeable at East Grinstead that we now pass the ball and retain it much better. Even though I was in line with the cross when we scored yesterday the more I look at the goal the more I'm convinced it should of stood, even Sean quoted that it was a questionable decision and take it from me he very rarely ever questions the officials. Still a good point against a well placed side. Somebody said to me where could we be if Dom was in charge from the start of the season? Obviously it's hyperthetical but it does make you wonder!
