Kevin Keehan - know him by reputation, considered a very very good player at County One level, step up should be fine

Marc Pullan - experienced CB. Ex Crawley Town, Eb Boro & Whitehawk, Handy to have and a Ben Judge style very experienced player

Mitchell Hand - Left Back, young and obviously someone Doms tracked.

sensible initially signings, especially Keehan who should replace Cook and then some.

After about two years of waiting we have finally signed a left back !!!!!!!!!!!! Team will have much better balance now and Sam Crutwell can be played in his best position of left midfield.

He's the LB for the current County one leaders, assume inform and full of confidence, also once again shouldn't be to much of a step up. If Rose can be coaxed into performing as well as he surely can do then as you say hopefully the flanks will be more secure. Agree Sam would be good at LW allowing Sam Adams to go behind Ade.

I'm really hoping the big man, Jamahl King, sticks it out. Pullen made a great debut but surely the future is with King. Was immense at Grays and Whytleafe but admittedly has taken longer to settle than most expected. Great player in my opinion.

Agree 100%. Pullan is 40 and age will become issue one day, isn't it. King is strong, quick and a nice guy !

Pullan looked solid, and Hand looked very good on the left.

For 5 minutes during half time, one of our coaches got the substitutes to do some warm up exercises rather than just kick a ball around. Unfortunately King did not look at all interested.

Judging from his tweets Kings gone, big shame that it didn't work out. Walton Casuals was mentioned elsewhere which is a lot closer for him. Travels too far to be on the bench for too long so understand why he may look elsewhere.

Pullan looked very good for his first game when you also consider he's 40+!

I hope that we keep the players who want to play for the club, sounds like some don't care that much, so get rid and bring others in.
For those who want Eliott from Eastbourne town, he has gone to Australia so won't be commuting each week

I'm thinking Bankole may not be far behind based on his mood yesterday. Again, I hope he stays and fights for his place as he has been one of the very few shining lights this season.

What I took from Dom's comments at the Q and A session yesterday, is that he is ready to give all the existing players a chance; but he only wants team players who are prepared to give 100% and accept that tactical changes, etc, might require them to play in something other than their favourite position. I think Dom will swiftly get rid of any player who fails to measure up to that professional standard.

Was impressed with Pullan and those of you who think age is against him ,think again ,,,of course his natural fitness may take its toll in time but it's what's going on in your head that keeps you a yard or two ahead of players that maybe 20 years his junior ,,it'simply called experience . Also, would like to see Jamahl stay but he does have a real mare of a journey for our home games , especially midweek . There have been times when he hasnt get home until gone midnight ,,, so please don't question his commitment !

Have to remember that all our players have family, job commitments. A long journey on top must make things doubly difficult. Hope our new management team get the balance right and don't find things too problematic.

But with respect Hastings hasn't moved since they signed. This is my point that its money first for some, without thinking the whole thing through.

If Jamal goes I don't think anyone would blame him. He has stayed with us so far and now his local team have come in for him. If he decides to leave then he has done it fair and sqare so good luck to him for the future. I hope Ollie Bankole stays as he has been outstanding when given a chance and is another nice guy always ready to have a chat with us oldies.

Kingy took an age to decide whether or not to join us, if it was all about money he would of signed straight away and no questions asked.

Don't really know why it's not worked out here for him. Think all in all he's generally been decent and worked hard to get back in the side after he was dropped. His travel ( not being a driver ) was prob the hardest of anyone at the club and it can wear you down even if your certain at the beginning that you can handle it. Plus it wouldn't have been cheap either and for a guy with a young family these two things are obviously a priority. Good luck to him. Hope he gets a club close to home.

Sorry it is money King would not have signed in the 1st place if we had offered the same as Horsham or Walton, whilst I don't have a problem with this, I also think we need to think what a player is going to have to do to get to Hastings. I would say anything over 90 mins each way is pushing it if a player has a full time job. Its not just matches its training as well.

What if a player has a full time job , travels 90 mins each way for training then only to find he is dropped for a new player and a player who doesnt attend training at all ... What would you feel like ?

I think I would feel like signing for Walton Casuals Windy.

The best of Terry's signings in my opinion. Think we may regret this further down the line but I have faith in Dom to replace him and quickly. As he said at the forum the squad is looking very thin at the moment particularly at centre half.
