After a very disappointing 2 weeks with bad results and the fact that Terry left his managers role we now face ThreeBridges.jpg

Last year we won at home on 7-12-2013  with 1-0 ( goal Kenny ) and away we won 1-2 (goals from Tom Vickers and Kenny )

Last year they finished at place 19th in the table. This year they are on place 14th with 16 points out of 13 games.

And our Hastings United ? Maybe we can say that last weekend was one of the worst a Hastings supporter has witnessed ?

It looked the team had no confidence, there were only a few substitutes available and the supporters weren't happy at all.

One positive point was the very quick returning of Tom Vickers in the team TomVickers.jpg, a few months earlier then we had expected. Of course there will be enough Hastings supporters to support the team and let's hope Nigel Kane can field the best possible team. Not alone in quality but maybe more nowadays in picking those players with the best mentality and attitude. Come on your U'sssssssssssssssss !

Sad to see we lost in the last minutes of the game ; 2-3. strange also to see there are no replies yet from those who went. I really hope there was some progress.

I don't think there is anything more to be said in regard to these pathetic displays.Everyone seems to be completely deflated and resigned to county level football at this moment in time

Until I see a marked change in our style of play and more effort I'm afraid that's the way I will remain

As I did not see JohnW there I will do a little report. The first half was lethargic, if not pathetic . Josh kept us in it ,could have been five at half time, when we were booed off. Not in favour of booing your own team but don't blame supporters. It was Rubbish. Can somebody in the know tell us why Sam Adams started at right back and we only played Ade up front.
Second half we came out and had a real go. Sam in midfield and Cruttwell on. Plenty of attacking , Ade hit the post and we deservedly drew level. Then we gave away a poor third goal, ball in from the right and we stood motionless.
We then bizarrely took off Taser who was putting in decent crosses and only brought on Kenny for the final few minutes.
Nice people at Three Bridges, but as one supporter said .." We would struggle to beat one Bridge let alone three
Good luck to the new manager, you are going to need it.

agree phil first half was pathetic, second half totally different with crutwel on and adams in midfield and three bridges lucky they still got all points cos we had lots of chances to win but bridges score with i think there only chance in 2nd half. 5 defeats in row though and depressing. if new manager was there think at least 3 or 4 players will be showed the door. hope sam adams get captain now frankie has gone. we need a team that show sam effort if we had we be top of league.
