How can the new manager be named on here before an official announcement from the club. What a joke this club is becoming. Also how can somebody post that they hope a position is found for Nigel Kane and Mark Stapley. They have just lost 3 successive games for goodness sake and by all accounts the performances in these 3 games was dreadful.
Congratulations on your 9th post Gaz !
Firstly no matter what club you go to in the wprld news will spread faster than an officisl announcement , 2 examples being when fergie retired from man united - the national papers had it on their front covers the day it was to be confirmed by the club. Second example is when David Moyes was sacked, social media broke the news a full 24 hours before, so to say what a joke this club is becomming based on this is quite a pathetic thing to say to be honest, especially when theres only really a few hundred involved with the club (players, board, supporters etc)
Secondly Maybe find them mark and nigel roles within the club because one has been here for several years without taking a single wage and the other got us promoted from this league a few years back and knows the team amd club inside out ?!!! and also not forgetting theyhave both put 100% into this club, know their football and lost 3 games , hardly worse record ever is it , give em a break , they were only temp while we were looking for a new manager !!!!!
I accept your first point but can't agree with you about Nigel Kane and Mark Stapley I am afraid. Just because Nigel got us promotion a few years ago doesn't make him a good coach/manager now. I would be interested to know how many games he has been involved in since he returned to the club in either a assistant/coach/managerial capacity and how many of those games we have won. The same applies to Mark Stapley I am afraid. As to your reference about my 9th post, I do not know what relevance that has at all.
I must end on a positive note and congratulate the board on the appointment of Di Paolo. A few people have voiced their concern about the difference in the league he is operating in now and Ryman South. You have only got to look at their record against higher level opposition recently to see that he will not have a problem stepping up just 1 league. To be honest their is no difference in standard between the lower half of Ryman South and the top half of the County League.
