The pre-season campaign is over ! The first game is the 2014-2015 Ryman South League is against Walton Casuals.
The number 9 of last season will play their home games at the Waterside Stadium, Waterside Drive,Walton on Thames in Surrey.
Last season we won both games 1-0. At The Pilot Field by a first half goal from Tim Olorunda and away by a second half goal from Sean Kelly.
Walton Casuals manager Mark Hams has confirmed yesterday a further four signings in preparation for this season's opener against Hastings United. They played in the pre-season campaign 8 games; lost 5 and won 3.
And our Hastings United : i think nobody can deny there is a optimistic mood around Terry White's team. Although we lost some players ( Judge,Kelly,Darby,Ellis,Pogue ) we got a few back ( Rose,King,Ray,Cook,A.Olorunda ) and in some stages of the pre-season campaign there was already some nice football to watch ! I think the majority of the fans wants a return to the Ryman League. Hopefully the team will start brightly against Walton Casuals with the help of a lot of Hastings supporters.
Good luck Terry and the team and I wish you all a very nice season !

Excellent start, sounds full of promise. Full respect to Ronnie too, his attitude shown following on from struggling last season has been great. Hope his injury isn't too serious. Roll on Monday!
Fantastic start for the boys today, great result. Nice lunchtime drink with Barry West on Benidorm seafront, the day couldn't be much better. Cant wait to get back and see us top of the table with a win on Monday.
It was a very comprehensive win - not the greatest spectacle in the first half but we were strong in every department which was the most pleasing. Pells had a mere handful of saves to make whilst at the other end we always looked threatening. The back four were pretty solid, the midfield dominant and we looked dangerous up front. If we had converted all of our chances it could have been 5 or 6. Dolan was impressive and at times ran them ragged as did Sam Adams who had another excellent game. Dolans goal on Ten minutes really settled us down and from then on we were in charge. We reduced Walton to just a few chances as most of their attacks were easily dealt with by Razor and Jamahl. Couldnt fault anyone out there today. Ade's goal finished whatever hope the hosts had. The only negative was Dolans injury - hope he is ok. Well done to the lads today. It was a pleasure to watch
Highlights will be up by around 10pm tonight, somehow the file for the clip with Ades goal corrupted so that's not shown which I'm pissed off about :( still learning the camera and it's issues!
However plenty of really good chances despite being another ground that's crap to film from with no elevation! Sorry about missing the goal but hope you enjoy the rest of the highlights!
Sounds like a very encouraging start and looking forward to Monday enormously...let's hope we can put in some really attractive and convincing home performances to bring the fans in.
I presume season tickets can be bought on the day as for previous friendlies.
Thanks John , this positive match report should convince a lot of people of visting the Pilot Field for the next match
Thanks John??? He was drinking a Piña Colada with Bazza in Benidorm !! Meanwhile I was sweating my wot sits off trying to stay out of the John to report on the game ha ha

Hello Pat, i knew that John was with Barrie ; Barrie told me. It amazes me where those two hear all the information
( Lol ) Nevertheless i am happy with that kind of match report
1st post alert. Was not at game today. Hope Dolan OK seems like he made a big contribution, as he has in pre-season. I remember him getting a bit of abuse from Cole Warren last season which I could not fathom. Could be a big payer for us ths season so let's hope for a quick recovery.
Dolan has been excellent so far, he admitted himself that he didn't show his best last season as he did seem to be pretty anonymous in many games but like Tom Vickers did last season he could have a great second season and is clearly a talented player. Told me he would be back hopefully for Sat.
Agree Donald. He really has been a revelation so far this season. He ran them ragged at times today - haven't heard the latest yet but hopefully he will be ok

And a very enjoyable drink it was too John although I think they could of turned the heating up a bit! 😳
