Aspiring young players in Guernsey will be the envy of their counterparts at the Ryman League's mainland clubs this summer after the Green Lions announced they'd teamed up with Real Madrid to run a week long soccer school.
Taking place on the Channel Island from Monday 21 July to Friday 25 July and organised by the Ryman South club's regular GFC Soccer School, the exclusive partnership will see the Spanish giant's own coaches taking charge and officials already expect spaces to be limited.
The school is open to both boys and girls from primary to senior school ages. Those who win a place on the course will also take home a Real Madrid replica shirt and football as well as being invited to a presentation evening when they'll collect their official coaching certificates from the La Liga club's officials.
