Does anyone know exactly how much money we made from last years FA cup run?

The prize money from the FA worked out at £72500, but there was also shared gate receipts home & away and also the television money.

It would also be interesting to know exactly how much we did make and where the money is being invested and also how the money will eventually be used.

I know a certain amount will be used on players and expenses and also ground improvements etc but does the chairman alone have the final say in how the money is spent or is it a joint decision amongst the shareholders,or has the money simply just been put aside in some "Rainy Day" account for future use?

Not sure but ask him if you are in the bar after the game. He is quite happy to go through stuff like that.

The accounts for last financial year were released on Wednesday. As they are publically available for free online, and findable within about 2 minutes on Google, I don't think there is any reason why I can't post the following, but please (admin) just delete if I am incorrect.

Assets have risen from £17,200 to £168,045 (most of which is cash in hand at bank - £104,254 up from £15,570). I would guess that this rise in cash at hand is the equivilent of the FA Cup money, so I'd stab at us making £90K in total from the run.

Very impressive numbers...

Good public relations to put those details on the website to reach a wider audience.
