Really looking forward to this game and hope we see the new guy from the start. An exciting debut after his initial 'stumble' on the ball but signs that he could be decent signing. hope Darby is back from illness, him and new guy may be very good to watch.

I thought Branco looked good and I was impressed that he didn't let his first attempt bother him. When he went to mark their number 7 at a free kick and his awareness of other players makes me think he is a player with a football brain. Hope we can keep him. Looking forward to tomorrow and also hope Matt is fit.

They won last Saturday in the FA Trophy 6-0, Current 21th place in the league with 9 played, 8 points but with a positive goaldif. 17-15 !

This is their Preview:

Hastings Preview
Invicta take on Hastings United at the Pilot Field tomorrow (Monday) in Ryman League One South with Neil Cugley's side sure to have a spring in their step after thumping Waltham Forest 6-0 in the FA Trophy at the weekend.
However the game isn’t going to be an easy match up,
Hastings are currently sitting third in the R1S table and with United's new Brazilian signing Rodrigo Branco coming in from Conference National side Woking, and Folkestone know they will have to put in a good shift.
Boss Neil Cugley admits it will be a tough challenge but feels the lads will give it a "right go" in the bid to bring home a good result.
He said: “Obviously they are one of the better sides in the league, but we will play like we know we can.
"Their pitch is always nice which will suit us. If we get the ball down and play football we know we'll play well and hopefully get a result.”
Cugley added there won’t be features in Monday’s game for Steve Harper who isn’t available, Chris “Billy” Elliot who is still suspended and Jake Beecroft who was injured on Saturday.
But Cugley says striker Johan Ter Horst who also picked up a knock in the Trophy win, has a 50/50 chance of making Monday’s squad.
With those absentees, Cugley will be surely looking at in-form experienced striker Simon Austin who netted twice at the weekend and the rock of midfield Micheal Everitt.
Also on the plus side, Phil Stevenson, who was away on Saturday, comes back into contention for a place in the starting eleven, most likely in midfield.
This game could be something special after Invicta and Hastings both won only two days ago.
And as defender Frankie Chappell said in an interview after the match on Saturday when his two goals helped Cugley's side enjoy their biggest win for sometime: “I know we can beat them!
"Let’s just hope we do and start moving up the league!"

Well that was a strange one. 3 chances, 3 goals and not a lot else to shout about. Judge was at is imperial best at the back alongside Kelly and the much underated Josh Pelling was as solid as ever but apart from that a very sedate and ordinary performance I thought and perhaps a slightly flattering score line. What tonight did show once again was that a left back now has to be a priority signing. Poor old Jono had a stinker to follow Edusei's stinker of a performance on Saturday. Better opposition, if there is such a thing in this league, would have ripped us apart down that flank tonight. Good 3 points though and I expect the same against Tooting this weekend.

out of the games i have seen this season that was our worse performance and we win 3-0! Opposition if you can call it that were so poor but you only beat what is infront of you and we did that with ease. As John says so few chances but for once we were clinical and Sam Adams goal was class, so composed. Agree with defence left back position needs to strengthen otherwise Judge, Kelly and Slocombe were in control not that they had much to trouble them. was looking forward to seeing Branco but really not in game and felt we almost wanted to just boot it up pitch and expect him to win everything. Biggest win of season and cant get excited by it!

I thought Folkestone were poor last night, their best period being the 10 minutes leading up to half time when they twice went through with just a defender and Pells to beat and wasted the opportunities on both accounts. As Peter said we didn't play well but still got a 3-0 win, which I believe cant be bad, after all you can only beat what's in front of you and it does seem that when you play a poor side your football does tend to slip to their standard. I will take wins like that for the rest of the season if it guarantees promotion.

Unfortunately wasn't able to make it last night, the trouble I can see is we are still not playing well, and if this continues another bad run of results is inevitable, teams playing badly do not win leagues at any level, so sooner or later we are going to have to improve, hopefully we will soon but the left back situation is becoming critical as half decent teams will exploit this obvious weakness.

Agree that it was a flat game and even had to resort to standing by the bar and not behind the goal as there was more entertainment in abusing dan willet then watching the game ! Ha

First time watching branco last night and didn't really impress me much, may have been because of all the hype he received after saturday, but last night against a poor team i was expecting him to rip them apart, bang in a hatrick and get the team involved in a conga for a goal celebration but instead despite having a lot of pace was offside a few times and can't remember him having a shot!

We need a better performance next week, where hopefully branco will perform and the defence need to stay solid, especially as we welcome back hastings legend Frankie Sawyer- really looking forward to that, may even have to sing our old song we had for him!

I believe Liam had a team list sent to him confirming Frankie is in the squad  for Tooting on Saturday. He is also still on their player profile for them on their website too ,so not sure you are right Dan ...
