Ludicrous that a county cup game takes precedence over Ryman South. I remember years ago when Hastings Town had to reschedule a Southern Premier game to accomodate a county league side who insisted on playing a Sussex Senior Cup game on the Saturday. I stand to be corrected but I think we ended up playing a game in Derbyshire on a Tuesday evening because of that.
The attendances at county cup games say it all - generally speaking, very few people start to show any interest till the semi final stage when the real possibility of a trophy perks us up.
