See that Mikel Suarez has signed a new contract for Tonbridge Angels so wont be coming to Hastings. Lee Worgan ( ex HUFC ) has left Tonbridge Angels but no news of who he has signed for? Micky Phillips (ex HUFC ) managers player of the season at Maidstone FC. Clarke Masters (ex HUFC ) signed for Tonbridge Angels.......any news on the 4 conference south players mentioned in last weeks observer....wonder if one is Ollie Rowe ?
I would dearly love to see Liam back on a permanent basis however I feel that he is good enough to play at a lower league club and would be playing beneath himself if he played at any Ryman club. The logistics of him playing for us would always be a problem too, he lives in London and would always be a stumbling block. Wherever he ends up I wish him well.
I am assuming that if Sean has spoke to Lee Worgan then Matt Armstrong Ford has no future at the club? Cannot believe he was looking to bring Lee in and stick him on the bench.
I think it was more of having been bitten last season John. We're all aware of the keeper crises last season and I'm surprised we got away with just one keeper the season before. I'm not sure what the latest is regards Matt AF injury.
I've heard that Portsmouth are looking to sign Liam O'Brien as when I spoke to him after the Kingstonian game, he has interest from a few league clubs. Rumours that Tim Olorunda has been released by Maidstone have been circulating but he wants to stay there. Shame we can't get Lee Worgan back - not too fussed about Clark masters because he was a controversial character anyway. Hoping we are able to keep Bradley, Jamie, Jack and the rest that I've said in a previous thread!

Tim Olorunda and Shaun Welford have both been released by Maidstone. Shaun still lives in Maidstone, so will probably sign up for a Kent club - Hythe have shown previous interest.
Good news that we've signed some players this early in the close season. Looking forward to keeping some from last season and hopefully signing some experienced players to get us out of the southern division and build a squad that can prosper over the next few seasons.
Clubs can't register players until July, I think what Fatherxmas is saying Dave is that its good news that with Ben and Sam agreeing to stay its good news. Hardly any clubs at this level buy players so I would suggest that they are doing the same, lining up players to sign and register come July.
Believe he is signing for a Conference South Club and I considering there is no problem at all in that - all players want to play at the highest level possible - would not call it jumping ship.
If he is signing for a Conference South club, then it's slightly more acceptable!! Fair play to him as all players like to compete at the highest level and moving up two leagues is a step in the right direction. He was most definitely one of our best players and would definetly be suitable for a club in that range. IMO anyway!
If thats right then will be a good test for him, wonder where they will play him as hes filled in all over the place for us but should be a CM. Wish him all the best.
I thought Jack played his best football for us at right back in the season before last. Hope he does well at Tonbridge. Talking of Tonbridge, their left back Jon Heath would be a great signing for us. A quality footballing defender. Hope Ben Judge can persuade him the journey to Hastings isn't too far.
