Interesting interview with Ade about Maidstone's promotion campaign in this week's Non League paper. One of the reasons why we struggled to make an impact in the Ryman Premier was our failure to keep our better players like Ade, Tim, Michael Phillips, Sam, Lee Worgan and so on. Does anyone know why so many good players left the club after we won promotion-hopefully if we get promoted some time it won't happen again.

I hope we use a different playing  style/formation next season and revert to being a bit more direct. Opposition sided had such an easy time at the Pilot Field as we endlessly passed the ball around our back four before immediately losing possession once we crossed the half way line. Perhaps we could go back to 4-4-2 with 2 wide attacking players. If Jack and Elliot are still here they would be ideal on the right- but 2 good left sided players needed for the left!

Assuming he's hopefully still around then Danny Ellis would be fine for the left although naturally right footed he had most of his better game at LW.

I'd imagine it was done to money mostly why the other players left as we weren't generating a lot of income then ( we're still not really but the FA cup money gives us a massive boost when it comes to getting players back like you mention )

Rumours have been circulating that Tim Olorunda has been released by Maidstone but is trying to re-sign...
