Whitehawk fc are no longer! The club has announced a name change next season to Brighton City FC. Rumor has it, is that it went to a vans vote and they voted in favor 12-4 with one abstaining.

Did they draft in ringers? Seems a lot of votes to me.

I still think that Whitehawk is a much better name than Brighton City Football Club!

I thought it was Brighton and Hove which was the city. Brighton on its own is just a district of it. I might be wrong though.

Whatever they call themselves next season, let's see how long the good times last at Whitehawk where attendances were so low that it was obvious someone was making up the difference. Recent examples of good times gone bad at Lewes, Truro City, Kettering and Rushden spring to mind.
