Just read this on the Hendon website. Why has it not been put on ours or this forum.
Poor communication with the supporters again but at least we are used to it.
We have been advised by Hastings United that they have been suffering with the rain this week, and that a morning inspection may be required tomorrow.
Their pitch was waterlogged yesterday morning, but they managed to get their game against Harrow played yesterday evening. Unfortunately the overnight rain created more waterlogging problems this morning, but they have been working on it all day, and they have had a dry day.
If tomorrow's game is postponed, we will try again on Sunday afternoon, kick off at 3.00pm.
We will update as soon as possible tomorrow morning once we have heard from Hastings. Please do check the twitter feed and messageboard as we may not be able to immediately update the website. We will aim to have an update available one way or another by 10.30am.

apparently no surface water this am but still plenty of water holding in soil. More news following ref inspection at 9:30,,,,,as per Simon Rudkins tweet
I think it's a little unfair to say that supporters aren't kept up to date. I try to keep supporters informed where i can and when asked to on hear. Hendon were contacted yesterday and asked as a contingency plan if given the exceptional circumstances, whether they would consider playing the game on Sunday if and only if the pitch was unplayable? Hendon as a club said they didn't have a problem however it was ultimately down to their Manager, I left the ground yesterday after 2pm and the Manager still hadn't confirmed whether or not this was acceptable to him. As I said this was a contingency plan and nothing had been put in place firmly and certainly hadn't been agreed 100% by mid afternoon yesterday. I believe if something had of been posted then it may of just added confusion to an already difficult situation. As things are at this moment in time the game is playable, however as Windy has posted there is no surface water but the soil is still holding plenty of water, I am certain that if there is any alterations to the game it will be posted on the official site. With so little time to get games in, any postponements will need to be fitted in somehow into an already packed two weeks, God forbid anything like that is needed as its a nightmare to manage and one that would cause a major headache.
Agree with everything you said Glenn, best team on the day and should have been 4,5 up. We had 6 shots which were straight at the keeper, better finishing would have been enough for them to be goals.
For all the critisism (myself included) i think Lee had a better game and took advantage of the boring hendon passing round the back by tackling the defender to set up sammy for the goal, also N'Daiye is improving with every game, but cant help but feel he'll be better used in CM or CDM , bit of a yaya toure role? with at least 1 player being injured in each game now, positions need to be filled and players willing to play out of position, ALL doing a great job
Yes we lost, but the attitude today was championship winning and when Zac and bradley return so will the goals
Well done to the lads though who gave 100% and didnt deserve to lose, roll on tuesday with hopefully a "what goes around comes around" situation and get the 3 vital points needed , COYU

Ummm... How on earth did we contrive to loose that? :/
I'm going to do the positives, as I'm sure someone will come along and do the negatives. We destroyed them. For about 70 minutes of the game we were the better side. We should've scored about 5. Best performance I've seen by the boys all season. Best performance I've seen from any side, home or away, all season. Passion and fight was there in bucket loads. N'Daiye is exceptionally good.
Let's just keep that momentum on Tuesday, the result will follow.
gutted by the result today as thought we did more than enough to get the points...think the longer the game went on it was impossible to play a nice passing game....but how boring were Hendon...reminded me of the old Asrsenal days...still I suppose they are from north london...need to dust down and take it to them on tueday night. Carshalton should be an intersting game though as they are on fire.
Gutted by today's result. We reallyndid dominate for about 70 minutes of the game. Hendon started the second half brightly, but we soon got back into the swing of things. Proud of the boys from today. N'Diayenplayed very well but Jamie Crellin and Jack Dixon's work rate I thought was exceptional.
If we play like thatnon Tuesday, I'm sure the result will be positive. It should've been today, but sometimes that's the way it goes. Proud of the boys today. Great effort.
I can't remember a greater sense of being robbed for ages....certainly not since some of those early season disappointments against Margate and Bury anyway.
For all but 20 minutes in the second half we were far and away the better side and probably had enough good efforts, chances and half chances to get six today...not to mention two against the post when it was 1 -1. They got two ugly smash and grab goals and barely had a shot on target other than that. A massive injustice just when we didn't need it ! I think we'd all have preferred a lucky win but we should all take heart from the fact that we are playing better in the league now than at any other time this season.
I think three points would have lifted us to 17th.... now we're 21st again and every game is important now. I hope the players still feel mentally and physically tough because this is going all the way ! You certainly couldn't fault the effort or commitment today...Sam is looking more like his old self and N'diaye (is that right ?) is looking a really classy player....I'll admit it, I have totally altered my opinion of him.
Think the Hendon team should treat themsleves to a Lottery ticket tonight...based on what I saw today they'll scoop the jackpot !
A very disappointing outcome! We did so much that was right. Good effort and commitment and we kept going in the face of some cruel luck. That said, we can blame no-one but ourselves for the result. The officials got most decisions right; and Hendon played to a plan (pass it around at the back, let us commit and then counter attack - particularly down our left flank in the second half) which ultimately worked. I wonder whether we would have conceded those two pretty poor defensive goals had Sean been able to stay on? I thought Jono looked less effective playing alongside Ben. On another day though we would, as others have observed, have got two or three more goals. On Tuesday, I see no reason why we cannot go to wherever it is Hendon play at the moment, play as we did today and get three points.
Agree with a lot of what has been said with a few reservations. We always looked vulnerable from corners and carelessly lost possession just inside our own half to concede the second. Not really bad luck to hit the post when it looked easier to score. However, effort and commitment first class and hope we get 2 positive results fom our midweek games next week. A lot of tired and injured players at present-hope we can keep going.
Should have finished them off at half-time, made it easy for ourselves second half, but did`nt take the chances as we should have done, that said, great commitment, the next two games like that, and we wont be going down !
