Plenty of controversy at Wealdstone v Concord game this week with sending offs, pitch invasions, racist abuse. Good reading on the forums but yet again, as we have experienced many times ourselves, a minority of Wealdstone fans continue to be a disgrace to the Ryman league. Just some of the comments from the game.
" There was untold racist abuse from the the Wealdstone fans from the 1st minute directed at Leon Mckenzie"
" The atmosphere was unpleasant and Wealdstone really do have a racial element in their support, i'm not talking 1 or 2 but several dozen if not more"
" Your club is rotten to the core with racist and homophobic tendencies"
" Hang your heads in shame, your a disgrace to football at all levels"
" Not for the first time, Wealdstone have been guilty of this, this season"
Strong words indeed, but I know for sure there are a handful of our younger supporters that will agree with some of the comments wholeheartedly.
That really doesn't surprise me. I remember a few seasons ago, I was ballboy and it all kicked off at the end of the game with the players and fans. Absolute disgrace to football
shame cos i know from the past they had a well run supporters club and know some of the older fans; have been at games against them when it has kicked off, sure they will be just as disgusted
Revenge is sweet! After the controversy from the game earlier in the month and the past run ins with our fans, how sad i was (not) to see Concord beat Wealdstone in the play off semi last night.

Strange to think that both Lowestoft and Concord were county league sides a few seasons ago along with ****ehawk...still I suppose thats the new order in football now!
