I know we have games in hand but looked at games left and cant see many chances of points. 3 thrown away on Saturday. Must get 3 tomorrow. Only other points 3 at home to Carshalton and 1 at lewis. Could be others but dont think 7 points is enough to stay up.

not sure what other teams in relegation trouble remainng games are like but ours not easy. I questioned manager back in January and was told not to panic. To late now i reckon to change anything.

Looking at the table just now I still feel that Lewes and Wingate are in a much worse position potentially than we are, with 6 games in hand in Wingate I still cannot see us not getting the 5 points required to catch them. Same with Lewes and the 3 points difference with 3 games in hand but the match with them is a killer potentially.

Just thank god that only 2 go down otherwise I cannot see much hope for us finishing above 19th :(

We certainly need to play better than we did on Saturday to win any of our remaining games. Need to start on Tuesday.

How many times have people been saying "this is a must win game"? I'm almost getting fed up of Razor's post match "we need to do better" statements. Getting boring now. Bottom line is we are relying in Lewes and a wingate to carry on losing for us to stay up. Attendances are falling and performance is shocking. So much for the FA Cup run.

I think we will get 9 points between now and the end of the season!

Have to disagree with you Big O. I think we will end the season with at least 40 points.

I think we can best Carshalton and Harrow and potentially draw against Lewes, Bognor and Hendon, perhaps East Thurrock. Some games we play better against the higher table opposition. If we get the points from the games I've listed, we'll finish on 35 or 36 points. But the bottom half is so tight, it could go either way.

Hope you are right Dave, where do you see the 14 points coming from to hit the magic 40?

The points will come only when the team realise that they are screwed and have to go for broke. How did the Cup run come about? Because you are screwed if you lose, and you only get one shot at it.

In the league in mid-season there is always another chance next saturday. Rubbish teams don't lift themselves or can't lift themselves in those circumstances.

United have shown that they can lift themselves. It's just a case of whether they do or not.

I'm a strong believer that the boys can lift themselves. Middlesbrough for example, when Bradley's goal flew in, all of the lads got the lift they needed. Beating Crawley 3-0 as well, again in the cup - yet another lift. Beating Cray the other week away from home was also another lift, but we need to apply this lift to the other games in the league. However, touch wood, I feel that Wingate are in a worse position than us, being only a few points anead of us and us having a fair few games in hand.

We need to concentrate on our league form not hope others slip up, if we do that then the rest will follow.

big game tonight for us as well as THURROCK go to CONCORD RANGERS.....we dont need Thurrock to open a gap on us so come on Concord!!!

I also notice that Wingate have 5/6 players with up to 4 match bans commencing shorthly....thats half the team so should be interesting to see their results over the next few weeks....but as already said we cant leave it to others we have to do the biz.....think east thurrock will be a hard game on Saturday and a point would be a good outcome at the minimum.

Also notice on the observer web site that Matty Maclean is banging in the goals over at Rye and is almost top scorer in the league.

Mat McLean would be welcome back, I feel. But, as soon as Bradley is back (hopefully Saturday or Tuesday) this should give the team a lift. Come on Concord tonight!!!
