Well he has boldly gone where so many have gone before.

I cannot say I am too sorry, it was always going to be tough with someone who has no or very little experience at this level. There was some odd decisions made in my opinion, like not trying to hold on to, who was at the time our top scoring, James Hull, and then to say we will miss his scoring ability, after not starting him in so many games. I noticed in Lee`s final comment he thanks a lot of people, but interestingly does not mention the fans, very strange not to thank a few hundred people who have been so patient for 3 months or more !  But now the search starts again for someone else to take the job, I wonder if we will get a "manager" or a cheap replacement, I would like to see an appointment, where it would give us a chance of saving this god awful season, and start to get the club back together, the whole club, not just on the pitch, but a club that will communicate with it`s supporters, and not keep them in the dark about almost everything, players come and go and we don`t know their names, all of a sudden players turn up and no one gets told anything about them. What a great way to treat the best bunch of supports in the league, there are clubs in higher leagues than us, who would love to get the support Hastings United get, lots of stories going around, the best way to stop rumours is to talk to people, then there would be no reason for some of the crazy things that go around.

Crazy idea time, make Sam Adams a player/manager and bring back Kenny Pogue for the rest of this season, if we don`t do something soon we will probably be playing against them next season anyway.

Just a thought.

What`s happened to the webpage, nothing since September?

When will the toilets be updated ?

Hi Mike; here is the new Manager:

Hastings United Football Club are delighted to announce the appointment of David Altendorff as our new First Team Manager, with immediate effect.

David has built an impressive coaching career, progressing through roles at Newhaven and Loxwood before taking charge of Lancing in the Isthmian South East Division. During his time there, he guided the club to their highest-ever league finish, narrowly missing out on the playoffs.

Most recently, David spent time at Whitehawk, first as Assistant Manager and then as Manager in the Isthmian Premier Division. We are thrilled to welcome him to Hastings United, where he will be joined by his Assistant Coach, Alex Marr.

Please join us in giving David a warm welcome to the club.
A welcome video featuring the new manager will be released shortly.
