Well, what a difference it was today, a United team playing well, and if it wasn`t for the stupid mistake early in the first half, who knows we might have got a point or three. Good all round effort, there is still some things to iron out, but I think we will improve as the games go by. Not sure why Croydon are top of the league, but I am pretty sure by the end of the season we will finish above them. Just a couple of weeks ago, I was not very optimistic for this season, but seeing them play today, I think we will very soon be on the up.
Having had a bird's-eye view of the game alongside Tom and Kaydon in the commentary box yesterday , there definitely seemed no lack of effort . I thought Chapman in particular had a good game . I just wish we would try shooting more . We look like a team lacking in confidence In front of goal. Tavares huffed n puffed but seemed very isolated at times . Swainston did alright but still lacked a calmness in midfield that we are clearly missing. It was nice to see us passing the ball around though but it felt like we going around in circles at times. Better than hoofing it though . Yeah definitely an improvement and room for more .
