There’s an old saying in football that ‘a point is a point ‘ and this game sums that up . Cray could and should have won this game by 3 or 4 , but excellent goalkeeping by Louis , who made up for Tuesday ,kept us in it. Tom Howard also had a good game. Not the manager but we need a 6 foot 3 inch centre half and Dicko needs to be 30 yards further up the field. onto Tuesday. By the way met an old gentleman who is a Groundhopper, today he was visiting Cray for the first time……..Ground number 819, makes my 200 odd look like a stroll in the park.

I find it rather alarming that we visit the team rock bottom of the table and come away very grateful from scrambling a 0-0 draw.
We desperately need Crutts back and Jack calling the shots in midfield…..and it doesn’t sound as if there’s much prospect of strengthening the squad with a few proven players from outside.
