It’s amazing the number of people who came to the programme pod yesterday asking how to get tickets. When I explained you could buy them online a number ,especially old fogeys like me , had no idea how to do it. We could buy online but prefer to just turn up and pay on the night.Much simpler especially if you have any doubts that you may not be able to attend.
Tickets are £12 in advance or £15 on the night. Details are on the Sussex County FA website, link below. The Club has publicised this on social media, but it is stunning that there has been nothing on the official site.
And small chance of industrial action on trains, with advice to check nearer the time as to which operators will be involved. Flying up from Cornwall to Gatwick so rail disruption would not be good
Tickets seem to be selling well but I do believe that all proceeds go to Sussex FA
Well that was disappointing. Sometimes you just have to hand it to the opposition. Horsham looked really well organised and virtually impossible for us to break down.
We just didn't turn up, they definitely wanted it way more than us, so disappointed as these opportunities don't come up very often. Also didn't think the gate was that good but I guess that's what people think of this competition.Didn't think much of their organisation skills at the ground, couldn't sit in our seats because someone was already there, when we asked why, we were told, sit anywhere you want, so we found ourselves too close to a rather loud bunch of f ing and cursing singers, bit of a crap night all round really.

Certainly beaten by a considerably better side on the night. Horsham were exceptionally sharp and incisive on the attack, and their defensive set-up as good as stopped us from playing.
They seemed to hold a pretty high line throughout, and squeezed the life out of our midfield, with Tommie Fagg and Sam Adams making no real impact until the closing stages. And their right back appeared to be playing in a very narrow position, preventing us from using those long balls through the middle to John Ufuah as an outlet, a move from which we have scored quite a few goals this season.
Why we didn't try to make more of the space out on the left wing is anyone's guess, and our best chances came when we finally did start taking advantage of that opportunity. Just a shame we were three down by then, with the game already gone.
Outplayed for most of the contest, and perhaps outcoached as well, but the future still looks bright enough, and if Chris can build a settled squad, and achieve the consistency that he craves, next season should hopefully be fun.
Thought we were hoping to repeat our Eastbourne Borough performance, when we didn't really venture forward much but hung on for penalties. But we did have Jack Bates there who gave us a bit more control in midfield when we did have a bit of possession.
