First of all congratulation to our supporter  Marc on winning the 50/50 with ticket 20386 …..£131. As for the game cannot comment at being a bit poorly I did not go. First game missed in 8 years so perhaps other supporters could give their opinions.

Get well soon Phil.

Let's put it this way, if you gonna miss a match, you picked the right one.

I too had to miss last night but by all accounts we were second best in all departments.
Hope to be back for the Lewes match…..housemaid’s knee permitting !

Defended terribly early on and gave the ball away too cheaply from the back if we are to get results against the stronger sides. Horsham are a very good side though and will push hard for the play offs.
That being said the last 20minutes we created 3 excellent chances (probably the best of the whole game) and could have made it interesting whilst not playing well. Couple positives with Freddie legg putting some dangerous balls in late on and JJ walker looking composed in the back 3 with the minutes he had in there.
Onto lewes and 3 points needed. Hopefully no new injuries and sam O and TC are back to strengthen the squad.

Thought Horsham looked a good strong side who defended very well but lacked invention going
forward. They had clearly done there homework on us as from what I saw John and David were well
marshalled and Ollies throws were all cleared without too many problems. There goals came from
defensive errors rather than attacking strategy. However in my opinion as always we gave 100% but
badly missed our injured players and seeing Adam Lovett go off at half time was worrying.
Interesting to see Littlehampton beat Bognor 6-1 last night so we must be favourites to meet Horsham
again in the final of the SSC

Horsham's two goals presented to them, both in rather bizarre ways. We never got going in the match and losing Adam at half time was a blow. Four great crosses from Freddie in the second half and we missed a great chance from one to make it 1-1. Hope Sam is available on Saturday when it would be good to put in a winning performance against Lewes. Hope our injured players and ailing supporters are all fit and well by Saturday.
