Saturday sees our last League game at the Pilot Field before Christmas indeed the last this year. No home games before January 13th. We have therefore decided to extent the 50/50 draw to include 2 hampers and other prizes as well as the big cash prize which should be well over £100 as we are anticipating a bumper pre Christmas crowd. So come to the pod to buy your tickets where you can also purchase Paul’s excellent Matchday Programme, just £2 .50 . If you wish to do neither just come along to say hello. Merry Christmas.

Apart from a few scares, Hastings controlled the first half but had to rely on a penalty to score. Bognor played well in the second half and took control of the match. Quite pleased with a point in the end. Couldn't get Jack Bates in the match after half time which meant we had to rely on set pieces for scoring opportunities.

Very good for half an hour but after that we were second best and barely deserved a draw in the end.
Disappointed with the contribution from Tommie in his first home game and not too much from Davide other than the penalty and two mi**** goal attempts. Kian was also well off the pace today. Not sure how much we would have threatened without John and Ollie’s throws. Thankfully we defended pretty well even after losing the midfield battle.
Sorry to be rather negative but that game should have been done and dusted in 30 minutes. In the end we rather hung on for a point.
Any sign of Tom Chalmers yet ? We need more creativity from the midfield.

Thanks, Phil. Let’s hope he gets back to full match fitness quickly because we do need an injection of pace and quality.
