Let's hope the current weather forecasts are accurate and that no more rain will fall before the upcoming home fixture against Kingstonian.
We were awful against them in the Trophy a few weeks ago. We deserved to lose.
But now, we have Chris Agutter back and we have a team that is revitalised.
I hope the game goes ahead and that we have a thousand plus gate to welcome what is finally, genuinely the start of a new era. We now have a manager who has a proven record, owners who are local, highly connected to the club and hugely respected and players who actually want to play and train in Hastings.
That doesn't mean that everything will go smoothly from now on in. But without those pre conditions it was always, at some point, going to fail.
First of all congratulations to our supporter Peter on winning the 50/50 with ticket 9891 .Prize £172.00 . Best this season. He said that this was his first win at the Pilot Field in 40 years. That’s his Christmas Turkey sorted.
As for the game , talk about a game of two halves .First half very lacklustre, couldn’t put a decent move together. However what Chris said at half time or put in their tea certainly did the trick . Excellent second half ,with John Ufuah deserving Man of the Match. Roll on Tuesday night.
