Ground Share

I have Seen lots of rumours on the fan Facebook. I personally think that ground sharing would mean a massive setback in the work that has been done to bring more supporters to the club over the last couple of years and travelling wherever it may be would not only cause lots of the fanbase to turn their heads but also many supporters will not have the time or money to make a trip wherever it may be every game losing such a great ground aswell thoughts...

Don't get to many games anymore since moving to London but still follow and the rumours I have seen are worrying. I've only been to 1 game this season, the defeat to Bishops Strortford, and I was surprised how run down the ground has become. The toilets were disgusting, the food has gone downhill and is bloody expensive and sitting in the main stand was like sitting in the bottom of a bird cage with bird poo everywhere. The stench was overpowering so decided to stand in front of the stand instead. Really appears that the ground has been left to fall apart and no one can even do simple things like clean the toilets or change a lightbulb as the cubicle light was not working.
Maybe the reason for a groundshare is nothing more than a temporary home whilst the ground is refurbished though having read that the Council won't support the new development. If it is a refurbishment then maybe supporters will have to accept a year or 2 at Eastbourne. If it is more sinister then shame on the board for allowing this to happen and letting a property developer to get involved in the first place. Hopefully someone will be able to do a detailed report on the meeting on Thursday and I will keep my fingers crossed it is positive not negative news. Good luck.
