First congratulations to our supporter Simon on winning the 50/50 this afternoon with ticket 02463 …prize £161.00. Not a bad afternoon for him. As for the game , probably the best this season , in fact maybe a few season. Started well ,had chances , but as we have seen before they run up the other end and score. What a second half however ,attacking football and 4 goals ,great entertainment, have to say Haringey played their part and looked a good side. Even their supporters outsang ours at times. Thoroughly enjoyable.Onward and upwards.

At 65 minutes I don't think any of us could have predicted that outcome......and that's one of the reasons that we so love football when the unexpected happens in our favour and hate it when it works against us.
I felt the game hadn't really ignited for us up to that point. We had caused problems from dead balls but not too much from open play and I felt Haringey just about deserved their lead.
Still no idea what went on when Sam's first free kick was ruled out. (Anyone know ?) However the outrage amongst fans and players alike seemed to inspire a furious assault in the final quarter.
Interested to hear what others felt but I thought both penalties were just about justified but not of the 'stone wall' variety. Maybe the ref was still suffering guilt from disallowing Sam's free kick. (Who would be a referee in such a heated atmosphere ?)
Anyway we then proceeded to tear them apart with two more goals...with Joe showing what a quality player he is with his second goal.
Overall the final outcome rather flattered us but we have been on the wrong end of a few bad breaks recently so I'm not complaining.
A final observation - I have always been a big supporter of Ben but it isn't quite happening for him. I would now like to see Gary trying a few different combinations, based around Joe if we can hold onto him, to see if we can find a more potent line up.

Sams goal was disallowed as the linesman was flagging before the kick was taken as Craig went on the pitch without permission. Result was a disallowed goal and a yellow for Craig, who was not happy.

ill not add too much else here, but what a player to come off the bench for us in sammy adams, such a top player to be able to bring off the bench adding real strive and calmness at a point i thought we were going to draw another blank, haringey were happy to waste time throughout this game and i wouldnt want to watch them regularly meself. Gbodes goal from open play was just tremendous..the man cant be given space at this level..what a player!!
