Whos going? Excited about thid one...think we will make a good account of ourselves tonight...as long as that stop oil lot dont shut london down and we miss it!!
Yes, good luck for tonight.Much will depend on who is available for selection.
Not a great ground with binoculars necessary if you sit in stand
The protesters are annoying perhaps but their committment to the planet is laudable
commitment to the planet involves causing mass congestion and pissing off workers, no inconveniances to the actual oil/petrol producers who actually make more money as london is brought to a standstill.
sorry tarquin & penelope doing these random acts of annoyance has lost any mainstream public support...bit like their sister group death cult extiction rebellion...lost the workers because to these types the workers are the enemy.
Brilliant performance from all the team last night. Our coach driver timed it just right arriving at the ground just before kick off after 3 and a half hours on the road!
Wingate and Finchley started off at a fast pace and the two best centre halves in the league-they have to be to keep Finn out-were kept busy.Hastings were attacking with pace and great crossfield passes and the first half flew past. Kane got a deserved goal just on half time and the second half performance was a a joy to watch. Sorry Knory had to go off early with an injury but Sam contributed really well. A first appearance for the promising Finlay Chapman and Kian Moynes helped keep Wingate-who never stopped attacking-at bay.
Great playing surface and an interesting ground-as Roger says - binoculars needed for the main stand. Non-league football at its best.
Sounds like a very good evening....putting aside the travel difficulties.
It feels like there is a significant difference between the top few sides in our league, who we have had trouble breaking down, and the lower teams who we seem to despatch as easily this season as we did last season.
Clearly the standard is generally higher this season but curious that after 10 games our record is almost identical to this point last season, just one less win and one more draw this time around.
So generally feeling pretty happy with our start but recognising the need for more strength in depth, particularly in our attack.
Think Wingate may have seen Hastings as a side they could beat. The game started at a fast pace with Wingate having a real go at Hastings and the match was end to end for a while with Hastings slowly establishing control. Second half was all Hastings with Wingate's open style suiting Hastings. Hope Saturday is as good.
