Looking forward to this one more than the last two at home, I think this will be a far better test for us, against opponents a league above. It would be nice to see the likely starting 11 together for a good part of the game. I know it's important to try all angles, but I would say as important to get that team together against a strong team, to see where really stand. As yet I've not been filled with confidence. If Billy reads this, a quick question, Billy when is the club going to spend a few pounds on doing the mens toilets up at the main gate, they are an absolute disgrace and I'm sure a health hazard, I had to use them on Saturday, the first time for ages, nothing has changed, they are as bad as ever. Surely it would not cost much to sort them out ?

Should be a good game as they are on a similar level to Eastbourne Borough, that's if they send a strong first team X1 down.
I totally agree with you regarding the toilets, I went in there on the first friendly of the season and they were as filthy in there as they were on the final game of last season.
The Strip Light above the 2 x cubicles at the far end doesn't work so when you close the door behind you you're in complete darkness, also there still is no locks on the doors either. Also the hand dryer doesn't work at all now.
Now we have got promotion we are going to attract more away supporters than last season and I honestly think we must have the worst toilets in the Isthmian League, it's a complete embarrassment.
I went to East Grinstead a couple of weeks ago and their toilets were brilliant, so why can't ours be like that.
Since my original post on 24th February 2020 about the state of the toilets then, well nothing has changed, in fact it's got worse.

Congratulations to Harry Aslett on winning the 50/50 tonight with ticket 152 , prize £28.00.
As for the game , beaten by a better side from a higher division. Still a bit concerned about lack of scoring chances.

Game itself was a tough one for Hastings. But thought we looked better playing 4 at the back. And Gil Carvalho looked very dangerous playing higher up the pitch. Ben didn't get anything from their excellent defenders and their big forwards were a real handful. Alex Brevo looked useful playing in front of the back 4 and then slotted in at left back for the second half. A 4-1 home defeat but there were positives from our performance.

I thought we did alright in the first half, we held our own and were quicker on the ball, but for a stupid mistake we just could have gone in 1-0 up, but the second half they quickly picked up every little thing we did wrong, especially the back passing, why oh why do we do this, even Louis was causing problems with it, please please don`t do it, it`s negative and down right dangerous, we lost two goals to it. They were well above us, that is to be expected with the league they are in, but we were slow to release the ball, where they were not holding the ball for a second and it was gone, again you would expect this, but there are some things we are not learning.
But as Phil said where are the goals going to come from ? Gary still has a lot of work to do (in two games) before we can seriously hold our own in our new league. I`m sure we won`t come straight back down, but we have a long hard season ahead of us. Before I forget, once again Tom Chalmers was exceptional.
