Billy usually makes an announcement when they are ready for collection.
I am sure they are on the way and I don't want to wish the Summer away just yet. 😊😊😊
I too have bought and paid for my season ticket and I think I paid extra to have it delivered in June!
It seems on twitter though that we have to collect them from the Pilot Field?
Can`t wait, I don`t normally bother with the friendlies, but I think I might make an exception this year.
So probably see you at one or more of them. Be good to catch up with dad as well.
Hi Mike,
My understanding is simply that season tickets have not yet arrived from the suppliers but will be here by the end of the month.
As soon as I hear any more from Pat I will post on here.
In the meantime….. enjoy the sunshine. 😊
I have been in touch with Billy and he assures me I can pick my season ticket up from the club on Friday morning (29 July). I will be heading up there around 10:30/11:00.
Don't think this has been the best ever communication exercise.
Hmmmm ! Just wasted half an hour hanging around at the PF waiting for someone to show.
The only sign of life was Simon cutting the pitch.
I'm not the first this has happened to.....the great Season Ticket fiasco goes on !
So I email'd Billy following last week's no show and he said he would be at the ground all day today.
Anyway, he wasn't there today either, well not at 11:00 this morning. Another wasted trip !
Hope everyone else is having more luck in getting hold of theirs.
I paid extra to have mine posted, supposedly in June, no ticket and no update from the club. It's a bit of a shambles, they were very quick to write and ask me to update bank details for the 200 club and there are always updates on Twitter. Is it too much to ask for an update on what's going on?
You're probably right Mick, it would be nice if clubs prioritised supporters who are going to turn up regardless, not just in a promotion campaign but then I suppose they don't have to, as we're already 'lifers'.
Did you email directly? I sent an enquiry from the form on the main site about it ages ago but obviously didnt get a reply
Billy email'd me back Tuesday evening to say he "was there all day but went out to a meeting in the morning". Also he would deliver it to my home on Wednesday (yesterday). Anyway, I still haven't got it.
So today I see you can pick it up at the gate at the first home game.
Wish I had known that at the start of this process.
Cheers guys, hopefully mine will be posted soon (I wanted to keep you gainfully employed Leon!)
Haha, appreciate it! Though the way things are going we'll be posting in the evenings and Saturday afternoons before long, anyone know of any jobs going that have a similar pay to postman?
To finish the story (because I know you are interested)......it wasn't delivered on Thursday either but a mate of mine went to the ground on Friday to collect his and picked up mine. Oh Joy !
I wonder if Tony Cousens is available to manage season tickets next seasons ?
Cheers, Mike. To be fair trauma is far too strong a word. I knew I would get hold of it somehow.
Just get a little pissed off by inefficiency/unreliability.
Anyway, all eyes on Saturday now.
Really looking forward to it.
I was taking the micky Mick, ! but like you just cannot wait until Saturday, I am still just a smidgen apprehensive, I am still not sure of our fire power up front, we really need a prolific scorer, which we do not have at present. Saw some of the friendlies, so so, but my chin was up after the Dulwich game, I think we did quite well (forget the score), so came away from that game a little upbeat. But new season , new league, anything could happen, so bring on Aveley.
Yep, I know I was there, but in the first half I think we did pretty good from a side a league lower than they are, and that was almost their first team.
