Probably the result of the season....and plenty of others went our way too.
Huge game next week between the two in-form and best supported sides.
Should be a cracker in front of a big crowd.

Quite right Mick, word should go out for next week. 1500 would be a good gate, there's no doubt about the fact we are definately back, with flying colours, well done the whole team, and the travelling fans.

That’s what happens when you don’t play football from a manual, players are allowed to play. Well done Gary

Enjoyable game and a deserved win against a good side. Work rate and endeavor was very impressive and thought Knory Scott had an excellent match

ChrisB you are literally the most negative person I have met.... (online... Would love to meet you at the PF one day)

More than likely wasn't there today and still in victory your comment has to be negative.

You must be the life and soul at parties 🙄

How is that negative, was congratulating the team and Gary, Agutter was one of the worst managers we have had the football was dire to watch, it now seems we are creating chances and not conceding as many, and look how our league position has improved. Think LittleS you are trying to read things that aren’t there.

A bit OTT to suggest Aggy was one of the worst managers we have ever had, Chris ! In 2019/20 we were well on course to win the league and playing plenty of good football. Totally agree that our style early this season did become rather predictable and tedious with the ball just being shifted side to side across the back four. We really weren't creating much from open play because our opponents always had time to take up a good defensive shape...and Ben was getting very little service. We rather relied on dead balls and Ollie's throw to create scoring opportunities.
Clearly Gary wants it moved forward quicker and it has certainly made us better to watch. I thought the five very different goals all from open play agains E.G., sometimes bypassing the midfield altogether, showed the benefit of getting the ball forward quicker and we have the players to exploit it.
Re Tuesday, let's just hope we stay injury free for another big one on Saturday.

Need to point out that both our goals came from long throws rather than open play. But what was so much better was the way, right from the kick off, we took the game to Herne Bay and pushed forward at every opportunity. Also, we harried their skillful midfield relentlessly- unlike in our home game against them at the start of the season. Tom Chalmers, up against a dangerous winger was excellent and Finn and Craig were top class. Fingers crossed that Folkstone will allow Finn to stay for the rest of the season. Knory played very well on the right wing and both their full backs were given difficult afternoons. Think Herne Bay will still be around at the end of the season.
