On Monday evening Hastings United Independent Supporters Club held a Zoom meeting with Hastings United CEO Billy Wood regarding the news that broke yesterday about Chris Agutter's resignation.
The key points to come from the chat are that it was solely Chris' decision and that Billy did everything he could to see if there was a solution that could keep Chris at the club but ultimately he respects Chris' choice.
Billy, on behalf Hastings United thanked Chris for all his hard work over the last 4 years and said there was no hard feelings towards Chris.
In the interim Andrew Brown (Browny) will take charge of the team. HUFC are fully behind him. The rest of the coaching staff will also remain the same and are in full support of Browny
The players are committed to HUFC and hungry to get the 3 points tonight
On behalf of himself and the HUFC board Billy Wood reiterated that the aim remains the same for the football club, promotion out of this league.
If any fans have any questions for Billy or anyone at Hastings United please leave your questions below or DM us.
Billy will also be attending on Fans Forum on Thursday 11th November.
