Don’t think Chris will under estimate them ,after all they are 3 leagues above us, but will no doubt give them a game. I think the priority in the next two weeks has to be Whitstable on the 12th October.

It's been a long day on the party bus but happy to add my thoughts....
Firstly, agree with Phil, no complaints....Maidenhead were a decent side who were clearly right up for the fight today. They were half a yard quicker all over the pitch and we had to work as hard today as in any game this season just to stay in it. Their aerial threat was apparent from the word go with their big number nine winning two early duels...and we knew this was going to be tough.
Perhaps the biggest regret today was that the three goals we did concede could all have been avoided. I think it was Sammy who misplaced a pass out of defence which gave them an early lead. Then Louis rather delayed a clearance too long and we were caught out again and finally Louis couldn't hold on to a drilled shot and they nicked a third from the follow up. Even a raised flag from the linesman could not save us.
It sounds from this as if Louis had a nightmare. He didn't. In fact he had a good claim for our MotM with a string of great saves and brave clearances and blocks.
We created half a dozen decent half chances during the game and, on another day if everything had gone our way, we could have caused a upset. Thought Jack came out with credit, as did Tom before he was replaced by Lanre, but the gap between the two sides was evident in quite a few individual battles today and all in all were beaten by a superior side.

We did fine against a side 3 steps higher. Everything Maidenhead did was going to be 20% higher than what we face in our league but never mind, our lads competed really well and 3-1 was how it finished.

Now, about that arrears of league games issue....... See you at Hythe.

Really sad that we haven't got a trip to either Halifax or Pontefract. They are both places I have always wanted to visit. 😉😉😉
I see Horsham are off to Carlisle. About a 680 mile round trip. Best of luck with that !
