I guess some of these clubs may have preferred an away fixture with us and got a share of a 1k plus gate. All we can do is knock them over and carry on ! 😊😊😊
Hopefully fate is arranging for us to have a home draw when we REALLY need it in the next few rounds. While promotion is priority we would be mad to ignore the opportunities and publicity that comes with the FA Cup.

I like the away games in the cups, because it gives us a chance to see new grounds, some we are unlikely to ever see again. We have not had a chance of getting to many new grounds in the last few (seems like forever) years, being stuck in this same division.
As Phil pointed out, Southpark we have been to on numerous occasions. The last time I went, I remember we all thought the groundsman must have been pissed when he marked the pitch, because all the lines were wonky. I have a pic somewhere.
At least Broadfields will be new, apparently they play at Tithe Sports Club, which is a 3g pitch so could be a leveller! Up until recently they were sharing with none other than Harefield United a couple of miles away. Think that would have pissed most of us off, if they were still playing there.
I was reminded yesterday of former South Park keeper James Wastell. What a character, not the tallest, rather rotund and folically challenged. However a good keeper who had plenty of humorous banter with supporters behind the goal. Seem to remember at half time he used to light up a ciggie. Don’t make them like that anymore.
